I wanted to show you how to create the flower that was on my card from earlier this week.
This is my first tutorial, so I hope you enjoy it!
The materials you will need are:
(All materials are from Stampin' Up!)
Five Petal Punch
3/4 Inch Circle Punch
1/2 Inch Circle Punch
Craft and Rubber Scissors
Circle Rhinestone Brads (I use Ice Circles)
Designer Series Paper (Berry Bliss)
and two coordinating colors of Card Stock (Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive)
Use the Five Petal Punch to punch out a flower from the DSP and Card Stock color #1. Punch a 3/4 inch circle from card stock color #2 and a 1/2 inch circle from Card Stock color #1
Layer the two circles together and use the Crop-A-Dile to punch an 1/8 hole in the center. Attach a Rhinestone Brad to the circles. You may need to use your Craft and Rubber Scissors to cut the excess from the prongs of the brad.
Layer the two flowers together with the DSP on top and so that you can see all the petals. Attach circles in the center with a dimensional.
Use your bone folder to curl the petals of the DSP slightly (as you would use scissors to curl ribbon).
And you're done! Just attach your flower to your card or scrapbook page.
Here are some other flowers I created for a scrapbook page.
